If you look for the key word XML Worker on the official site, you'll find a lot of examples: http://itextpdf.com/tags/xml-worker
You can also browse the FAQ: http://developers.itextpdf.com/faq/category/parsing-xml-and-xhtml
You can find a lot of examples here: http://developers.itextpdf.com/examples/xml-worker

For specific CSS examples, search for CSS: http://developers.itextpdf.com/search/node/CSS
See for instance: http://developers.itextpdf.com/question/how-add-external-css-while-generating-pdf

Please search the site before asking a question on a mailing-list that was discontinued and on which you aren't subscribed.
Most of the examples are written in Java, but it shouldn't be a problem for a C# developer to port them to iTextSharp.
