How to prevent last row of the table to expand

Ritu Saxena
I am adding two PdfPTable tables say table1 and table2 to the cells of a master
PdfPTable table. Each of the two tables table1 and table2, have different number
of rows with cell height not fixed. The height of the last row of the table
having the lesser number of rows is expanded to the end of the master table
border. How can I prevent this and have all the rows share an equal height,
rather than the last row occupying the remainder of the space in the table.

PdfPTable.setExtendLastRow(false); should do the job. Does it not work for you?

It works for us. Show us why it doesn't work for you in a simple
standalone example we can run on our system without needing any extra
software except for iText. If you can't reproduce the problem in such an
example, there probably isn't a problem.

It doesn't work if you do this directly after the initialization of the table. If you add PdfPTable.setExtendLastRow(false); after the last cell it works perfectly for me!
