Crop PDF page into PNG?

Eric Chow
Hello,

How can I export a PDF page as a PNG image?
If I do not want to export a whole page, and just want to crop a specific size, for example, I want to crop a from x=10, y=10, width=200, height=100.

How can I do this in PDFBox?

Best regards,
Eric

You can ask your question here:

And yes it is possible to do that with pdfbox and with others (like jpedal)

To crop PDF page into a PNG image is easy if you have PDF Copy Paste.

1. Draw a rectangle area around your desired content
2. Press Ctrl+S on your keyboard
3. Choose PNG as the output format and specify the file name in the Save-As dialog

Done!

"iText/iTextSharp can generate and/or modify existing PDFs but they do not perform any rendering which is what you are looking for. I would recommend checking out Ghostscript or some other library that knows how to actually render a PDF."
